iKnowMyDesign DISC is an ENHANCED DISC-based personal assessment tool used to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication. It was psychometrically developed to provide the most accurate and detailed information to the user. The user can be an Individual, a Couple, a Work- or Volunteer Team, or an entire Business Team. In iKnowMyDesign DISC the personality factors of Directing, Interacting, Supporting, and Conscientiousness are measured and expanded with different attributes describing typical behavior. I Know My Design is non-judgmental and helps people discuss their behavioral differences. Participants will be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about their personality and behavior.

iKnowMyDesign DISC reports provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviors with others. This can be within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships. iKnowMyDesign DISC profiles help you and your team:

• Increase their self-knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates them, what causes them stress and how to solve problems

• Facilitate better teamwork, minimize team conflict and improve communication skills

• Develop stronger skills by identifying and responding to client and customer styles

• Manage more effectively by understanding the dispositions and priorities of employees and team members

• Become more self-knowledgeable, well-rounded and effective leaders

The psychometric development of iKnowMyDesign DISC consisted first of gathering a large number of adjectives thought that represent the four factors. To statistically confirm that the adjectives measured one of the four personality factors, a factor analysis was done on the four-factor solution adjectives.

Seventeen iKnowMyDesign DISC (iKMD) personality profiles were developed from combinations of high, Mid-Range (balanced), or low scores on the four traits or factors. These profiles are defined by formulae with different cut-off scores on the four personality factors. Extensive testing was conducted for profile validity both statistically and experientially:

• A MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) analysis was done and statistically demonstrated that the iKnowMyDesign DISC profiles describe different sets of personalities.
• Discriminant Analysis was conducted in order to investigate and explain the differences among the profiles. Results from the Discriminant Analysis provide evidence that groups of the IKMD profiles are distinct from other groups of profiles.
• Profile Similarity Indices (PSI) provides a measure of similarity among the 17 iKnowMyDesign DISC profiles. PSI’s were computed between each iKnowMyDesign DISC profile and every other profile. All 17 profiles were similar to at least one other profile.
